THE KIDS ARE TAKING OVER ON SATURDAY, MAY 24TH, AS THE HAMILTON TIGER-CATS TAKE ON THE TORONTO ARGONAUTS IN THIS PRESEASON GAME! THE HOME GROWN GAME IS AN EXCITING AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE FOR KIDS AGES 14 AND UNDER!
In this family-friendly game, kids help out the Ticats staff at various levels of game operations and get to experience the thrill of being a part of a Ticats game day.
From helping the social media team on the field to introducing the team, kids get to be a part of all the action. With plenty of fun for everyone, the Ticats Home Grown Game is a great way to introduce kids to the exciting world of football.

Successful applicants will receive two complimentary tickets for the game. Applications close Sunday, May 19th.
POSITIONS
JR PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER
QUALIFICATIONS
- Clear and confident public speaker
- Passion for football and entertainment
- Comfortable using a microphone in front of thousands of fans
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome, players, to the field
- Announce key game moments and fan interactions
- Assist with in-stadium reads and messages

JR PIGSKIN PETE
QUALIFICATIONS
- Big voice, big energy, big personality
- Comfortable in front of a crowd
- Knows how to get fans on their feet
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the “Oskee Wee Wee” chant with the crowd
- Appear in the pregame or during a timeout to hype up fans
- Work alongside the real Pigskin Pete and be part of a special on-field moment

QUALIFICATIONS
- Energetic, outgoing, and engaging
- Loves to speak in front of a crowd or camera
- Interest in TV, entertainment, or public speaking
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help lead fan contests and in-game promotions
- Hype up the crowd with Sparky and the promo team
- Interview a fan or special guest during a break in play

- Comfortable running across the field in front of a big crowd
- Team player with great spirit
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry and run the Ticats flag across the field after a touchdown
- Bring energy to the crowd and help fire up the stadium
- Assist the promo team with in-game moments
JR CONTENT CREATOR
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passionate about social media, photography, or video
- Creative mindset and storytelling ability
- Comfortable using a phone or camera
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture content from the sidelines and behind the scenes
- Help post to the Ticats’ Instagram Stor
- Assist in building a Homegrown Game highlight reel
