Swartout developed into a highly reliable right tackle over his collegiate career, making 36 starts across four seasons. After earning his first career start in the Sun Bowl in 2021, he became a full-time starter in 2022 and started every game at right tackle over the next three seasons.
He earned back-to-back Second Team All-MAC honours in 2023 and 2024, served as a team captain, and was recognized for his academic excellence with multiple CSC Academic All-District, Academic All-MAC, and NFF Hampshire Honor Society honours.
