CAREER

2024-2025: Tiger-Cats
Isaiah Wooden Sr. spent parts of the 2024 and 2025 seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, emerging as one of the CFL’s most dangerous return specialists. After joining Hamilton late in 2024, the explosive receiver and returner made a major impact in 2025, recording 1,105 kickoff return yards and two touchdowns, while adding 570 punt return yards and another score. His season was highlighted by a 105-yard kickoff return touchdown, showcasing the game-breaking speed that made him a constant threat in the return game. Following his standout campaign with the Tiger-Cats, Wooden earned another NFL opportunity by signing a futures contract with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns in January 2026. Wooden then rejoined the Tiger-Cats in time for the 2026 regular season.

2024: BC Lions and NFL Stints
Isaiah was signed as a free agent by the Lions on September 10, 2024, after beginning his professional career with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent. He attended the Falcons’ rookie mini-camp before spending part of training camp with the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers in August 2024.

COLLEGE

2022-2023: Southern Utah
Wooden then transferred to Southern Utah for his final two years of eligibility. In two years as a Thunderbird, he logged 124 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 68 receptions, 1,288 receiving yards and 16 receiving touchdowns. For his efforts in his senior year, he was named to the First-team All-United Athletic Conference team.

2019-2021: Butler Community College
Appeared in four games and was forced to sit out his first season due to NCAA transfer rules.

2018: Utah Tech
While at Utah Tech, Wooden played in nine games for the Trailblazers, recording 61 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 7 receptions for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns.
