The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have announced that tomorrow night’s game with Montreal is sold out. It will be the 11th consecutive regular season and playoff sellout at Tim Hortons Field. The matchup with the Alouettes, presented by Lou’s, is Angelo Mosca Night. Hamilton will retire uniform number 68 in honour of legendary Tiger-Cat Angelo Mosca. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Less than 500 tickets remain for the Ticats Labour Day Classic with Toronto and less than 1,000 remain for the September 19 rematch with West Division power Edmonton. Click here to secure your seats!
The Labour Day Classic will feature the largest fan appreciation giveaway in Ticats history in partnership with the new TSN 1150 Hamilton and WeatherTech. All fans in attendance will receive a commemorative ticket and custom lanyard, compliments of WeatherTech. Almost $10,000 in prizing will be available to be won, including a trip to the 103rd Grey Cup courtesy of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and TSN 1150 Hamilton, a complete WeatherTech automotive kit, Labour Day Classic jerseys and merchandise, tickets to future home games, and more. Labour Day will mark the first radio broadcast for the Ticats on the new TSN 1150 Hamilton, set to make its debut as the first all-sports station in the Hamilton/Niagara region September 1.
The September 19 game with Edmonton, presented by Fisherman’s Friend, will offer double-header action as the Ticats and Eskimos kick off at 4 p.m., followed by an Ontario Football Conference matchup between the Hamilton Hurricanes and Burlington Braves.
Through three home games this season the Ticats have drawn at 103 percent of capacity at Tim Hortons Field. Attendance was 24,135 fans for the August 3 home opener versus Toronto, 24,068 on August 9 versus Winnipeg, and 24,110 on August 15 versus B.C. for a total of 72,313. Sellout is 23,500. Hamilton has won all 10 of its regular season and playoff games at its new stadium.
