197 – Luke Tasker and Terrell Sinkfield combined for 16 receptions and 197 yards in the Ticats victory over Montreal. The duo was responsible for 82% of Jeff Mathews’ passing yardage and 76% of his completions on the day.
6 – Terrell Sinkfield has now recorded 90+ yards receiving in six of the Ticats last eight games. Sinkfield sits just 85 yards away from becoming the team’s first 1,000-yard receiver this season.
82 – The Ticats special teams and defence held kick returner and receiver Stefan Logan to just 82 yards on the day. The Alouettes dynamic returner leads the league in total yards, and was averaging 151 yards per game prior to Sunday’s contest.
17 – Kicker Justin Medlock was responsible for 17 of the Ticats 23 points on Sunday, successfully kicking three field goals, one extra point convert and a kicking single.
6 – Mike Daly’s blocked punt on Sunday marked the Ticats sixth block of the season. Hamilton now has at least two more blocked kicks than any other CFL team and has accounted for 35% of the league’s blocked kicks in 2015. Furthermore, they are the first team to block six kicks in a single season since the 2001 Ticats.
3 – The Ticats three interceptions and +3 turnover ratio in Sunday’s game in Montreal improved their league-leading interception total to 23 and their turnover ratio to +20.
18 – The Ticats road victory at Percival Molson Stadium snapped an 18-game regular season losing streak in Montreal. The last time the team had won a road game against the Alouettes in the regular season was on October 20, 2002.
9-3 – With Sunday’s win, the Ticats improved to 9-3 in games where they take a lead into the second quarter. The 3-0 lead against the Als increased the team’s first-quarter scoring differential to +146.
10-5 – The Ticats 10-5 record through 15 games is their best mark through as many games since the 1998 campaign. At this point last season the team held a 7-8 record and did not win 10 games the entire season.
26.5 – The Ticats offence has hardly skipped a beat under rookie quarterback Jeff Mathews. At 26.5 points per game, the team is averaging at least 2.6 more points per game than any other CFL team.
