45 – Running back CJ Gable rushed for 45 yards in his return to the Ticats lineup. The veteran back averaged just over 5.0 yards per carry on nine carries in his first game since Week 6.
64 – Luke Tasker’s 64-yard touchdown reception early in Friday night’s game was the longest touchdown reception and longest reception of the receiver’s career. Prior to the 64-yard score, Tasker’s longest reception was 50 yards in a 2014 regular season game against the Argos.
30 – Tasker’s 64-yard catch, along with a 31-yard reception from Terrell Sinkfield, increased the Ticats season total of 30+ yard passes to 30. On the opposite side of the ball, the Ticats have allowed the CFL’s fewest passes of 30 yards or greater (15).
5 – With 68 receptions on the season, Tasker is just five catches away from setting a career high, despite missing the first four games of the 2015 season. Tasker’s 951 receiving yards are also a career-high, topping his previous mark of 938 from last season.
3 – Newly-acquired Canadian safety Mike Edem made a team-high three special teams tackles in BC on Friday night.

6 – There is now a five-way tie for the Ticats’ team lead in touchdowns; Brandon Banks, Jeff Mathews, Terrell Sinkfield, Luke Tasker and Terrence Toliver have each found the end zone six times in 2015.
6 – Taylor Reed’s team-leading six tackles in last week’s game moved him within three tackles of fellow linebacker Simoni Lawrence for the team’s top regular season total. Reed’s 70 tackles through 16 games have already capped his rookie total of 62 in 2014.

This week’s showdown with the Redblacks could turn into a high-scoring affair as Ottawa enters the game with the league’s second-highest points total at 25.5 per game.
24 – The Ticats defence recorded their 24th reception of the season in Friday’s loss to BC. The Black and Gold’s ballhawks are now tied with this week’s visiting Ottawa Redblacks for the most interceptions in the league.
