Stair to Care Coming to Tim Hortons Field on October 2

The Tiger Cats and The Lung Association – two organizations with deep community roots in the Hamilton region – are joining forces to launch a new Community Partnership that will get people actively involved in lung health, create breathing breakthroughs and make Hamilton a better place to breathe. Today, the Ticats and The Lung Association announced the return of the Stair to Care Charity Stair Climb and Field Day at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday, October 2.

“The Tiger-Cats are excited to be partnering with the Ontario Lung Association again this year for the second-annual Stair to Care climb at Tim Hortons Field,” said Matt Afinec, Tiger-Cats Chief Commercial Officer. “The Stair to Care event is a fantastic, community-based fundraising initiative that we fully support – from our staff participating in the climb, to our players actively involved in the promotion of the day. We’re happy to do our part in helping raise awareness for the importance of breathing and lung health.”
Ticats fans can sign up to do the climb on October 2 by joining Team Filer, Team Tracy or Team Lawrence at www.stairtocare.ca. Can’t make the event in October? You can also help raise funds.
