CARSTAR Community Open House coming to Tim Hortons Field June 12

FREE Event includes half price food and beverage, question and answer period with players as well as an autograph session, plus much more!

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are pleased to announce the details of their second annual CARSTAR Community Open House at Tim Hortons Field set for Sunday, June 12 from 11am to 1pm. Tickets to the event are free and available at www.ticats.ca/openhouse. The event attracted over 5,000 fans last year, and this year will feature a number of activities for all fans to enjoy in addition to specials on Tim Hortons Field food and beverage as well as Tiger-Cats Shop merchandise. Fan activities include:

• Question and answer period for fans to ask some of their favourite players questions about the upcoming season
• Autograph session with over 40 stations around the field for fans to interact with current players and alumni
• 50% off on all food and beverage (excluding alcoholic beverages)
• Special Tiger-Cats Shop tent in the plaza with past season merchandise available for up to 75% off
• Live draws for prizes including gift cards and Tiger-Cats memorabilia
• The first 50 fans to purchase season tickets in selected eligible sections at the event will have the opportunity to win their seats by kicking a 35 yard field goal.
• Meet and greet opportunities with the Tiger-Cats Cheerleaders
• Hamilton Tiger-Cats mascot, Stripes, as well as games, facepainting, and play area for kids
• Access throughout the stadium, including field level
• The unveiling of the Coors Banquet Bar.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats begin their pre-season training camp on Sunday, May 29. The CARSTAR Community Open House at Tim Hortons Field on June 12 will be fans final chance to be up close with the roster before the regular season begins two weeks later.
