Tiger-cats Trade Quarterback Waters To Roughriders

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Saturday that the football club has acquired the rights to a player from the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ negotiation list in exchange for international quarterback Jake Waters.
Waters, 24, was signed by the Tiger-Cats on April 19, 2016, and dressed as a backup quarterback in all three of the team’s regular season games in his first CFL season. The 6-1, 210-pound product of Kansas State, spent time with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars last season. He originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Jaguars on May 2, 2015.
