Tiger-cats Re-sign Wide Receiver Toliver To Two-year Contract

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Monday that the football club has re-signed international wide receiver Terrence Toliver to a two-year contract.
Toliver, 28, had a career season in 2016, hauling in 65 receptions for 1,036 yards and nine touchdowns despite playing in only 13 games. His nine touchdown receptions ranked tied for fifth in the CFL. The 6-5, 203-pound native of Hempstead, Texas, was named a Shaw CFL Top Performer of the Month last August after posting 24 receptions over four games for 500 yards and four touchdowns.
In two seasons with the Tiger-Cats (2015-16), Toliver has started at wide receiver in all 26 CFL games he has appeared in, accumulating 113 receptions, 1,715 yards and 15 touchdowns. The Louisiana State University product was originally signed by Hamilton on April 8, 2015 after spending time with the National Football League’s Houston Texans (2011), Detroit Lions (2011-12), San Diego Chargers (2013), and Chicago Bears (2013-14), and the United Football League’s Omaha Nighthawks (2012).
