Tiger-cats Add Defensive End Mueller To Practice Roster

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Monday that the football club has added international free agent defensive end Ryan Mueller to the team’s practice roster.
Mueller, 26, attended Hamilton’s 2017 training camp after signing with the team on April 19, 2017. He played in two preseason games and posted one pass knock down before being released on June 17.
The 6-2, 248-pound native of Morristown, New Jersey, converted to fullback and had a short stint with the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles in 2016. He was originally signed as an outside linebacker/defensive end by the San Diego Chargers after going undrafted in 2015, and served time on the team’s practice roster. Mueller played four seasons at Kansas State University (2011-14) at defensive end before turning pro, posting 119 career defensive tackles and 20.5 quarterback sacks.
