Q. What’s the perfect movie to watch on a date?
A. The Notebook. The Notebook for sure. That’s a classic love story.
 
Q. If you and your girlfriend were having a movie night, who would pick the movie, and what movie would they probably pick?
A. I’d say my girlfriend would probably pick the movie and we would watch a comedy movie. Something like ‘Next Friday’.
 
Q. Would you rather give up listening to music for a month, or bathing and showering?
A. I would have to give up bathing and showering. I love my music too much. I listen to a whole bunch of different music. Sometimes I listen to country music, but it depends on what type of mood I’m in. I feel like my mood will dictate what type of music I listen to.
 
Q. If you were hanging out on a packed concourse during a rain delay at a football game, what would you do to pass the time?
A. Network. I’d get to know as many people as I can. Exchange information. Try to form some friendships so when I came back again I can bump into those same people.
 
Q. If you could go back in time and relive one moment in your football career, which moment would you go back to?
A. I would have to say winning that first game this year. I feel like that was a big team moment. Everybody was at an all-time high. I feel like, in recent history, that’s one of the biggest moments I’ve had here.
 
Q. If you won the Grey Cup and your Grey Cup bonus was paid in air miles – enough air miles to go anywhere in the world – where would you go?
A. Oh man… I’m going to the Keys. I’m going to Florida and I’m taking my mom. She loves going to Florida. So I’m going to take her with me and just get her to show me everything there is to do down there.
 
Q. When was the last time you cooked for somebody else and how did it turn out?
A. Actually during the bye week. Me and Don Unamba were at the house, and I cooked baked chicken and asparagus. It was pretty good, yeah it was pretty good. You’d have to ask him though. Hahaha.
 
Q. What was your first car, and how did you acquire it?
A. My first car was a 2007 Nissan Maxima. My parents bought it for me. I didn’t start driving until I got to college, so I had to wait till I was 21 to start driving. So that was like my gift for waiting so long.
 
Q. You’ve obviously figured out Canadian football. Which other Canadian sport do you think you’d be better at, curling or lacrosse?
A. Curling is the thing on the ice right? I’m going to say curling cause I feel like I’m a technician. I feel like curling has a lot to do with technique.
 
Q. How did your nickname, Chop, come about, and is there a story behind it?
A. Yeah, there’s a story behind it but I would rather keep that confidential if I can… [suspicious laughter].
