Q. Who will win the game of thrones, and why?
A. I still want Jon Snow. I mean, although he just did what he did – people who watch it know what I’m talking about – although he just did what he did, I still want to see him up there. Just because that’s my boy right there, Jon Snow. I’m rooting for him.
It was crazy at the end of the season. I don’t want to spoil it for anybody but it was crazy and now we gotta wait like two years or something for the next one.
 
Q. What is your party trick?
A. I don’t have a party trick. But I guess my hair, people love my hair. So I guess that’s a natural party trick right there.
 
Q. Speaking of your hair, how long does take to do it?
A. My hair is just the way it is. I’ve been growing it for a year and nine months. This is just the way I wake up every day and just let it rock.
 
Q. Who’s the best rapper in the game right now?
A. Oh man [long pause]. That’s a hard one. I don’t know man, best rapper in the game? Migos. Migos – all three of them. Quavo, Takeoff, Offset.
 

Q. When you were in New York City, what did you miss about Hamilton? And the opposite, now that you’re back in Hamilton, what do you miss about New York City?
A. I missed by family, being down there for four years. I’d only come home two months a year. So I’d be in school most of the time. I’d just miss my family a lot.
When I was in New York, there were always things to do. You could go into the city right there, all your friends are right there. Being up here is a little different, I’m just relaxing more, hanging out more, as opposed to going out and doing things. So I kind of miss the hustle and bustle of New York City.
 
Q. How does your girlfriend like Hamilton so far?
A. She likes it. It’s nice you know. We’ve been down to the Bay a couple times. She likes it there, walking the dog. She’s still getting used to the fact that what we call a mountain isn’t really a mountain. She’s still adjusting to people saying “eh” sometimes, and people being a lot more polite than they are where she’s from.
 
Q. How would you rather spend a Friday night, teaching a Zumba class to a group of eight year-olds, or waiting to renew your license in line at Service Ontario.
A. Definitely the Zumba class for eight-year-olds. Kids are characters, so there wouldn’t be a dull moment at all. So that would definitely be way more fun. That’d be so funny. I like little kids so it would just be fun just watching them be themselves and act the fool.
 
Q. If you won the Grey Cup and were given a day to spend with it, what would you do with it?
A. I don’t know man, that’s a big thing. A lot of people always go back home but like, I’m already home so I don’t really have to go anywhere. I might take it down, see a couple of my friends back at school, back in New York. Take it back to the Bronx. That’d be pretty cool. But if I had to stay up here, I’d just hang out with my family, and go to my high school and show it off there.
 
Q. What useless skill would you rather have, sword swallowing or riding a unicycle.
A. Riding a unicycle for sure. Can’t do that sword swallowing, not a chance. Riding a unicycle would actually be pretty cool, but I don’t know if I’ve got the balance for it.
 
Q. If you could play for the Ticats in any decade other than this one, which decade would you choose?
A. Woooah. Definitely the 90s. 90s for sure. I’d get to see my dad a little bit [Vaughn’s dad played for the Ticats as a running back in the 90s], and also the 90s were great years, so that’d be fun for sure
