Family-friendly home schedule features four weekend afternoon games
Season seat renewal deadline extended 48 hours
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced the club’s 2018 season schedule on Thursday. Due to the CFL’s early schedule announcement, the team is extending its season ticket renewal deadline by 48 hours to Wednesday, December 20 at 5 p.m. The Tiger-Cats’ 2018 home schedule features four Saturday afternoon kickoffs, and a wide selection of weeknight and weekend games perfect for family and social outings.

The four afternoon games allow fans with young families to enjoy:
- Stripes Jungle, the Tiger-Cats themed children’s playground at Tim Hortons Field
- The popular post-game ‘Families on the Field’ program
The five weekend games allow fans to take advantage of Tim Hortons Field’s social viewing experience:
- The Stipley, Canada’s largest outdoor bar
- Craft Gardens, a destination for craft beer and unique food items
- Coors Banquet Bar, Tim Hortons Field’s country bar
- 360 degree access in the venue, from north to south and east to west
Tim Hortons Field remains the home of special events in 2018:
- WeatherTech Football Day in Hamilton on September 3, a day-long event featuring a doubleheader football game, live music and the Labour Day Classic vs. Argonauts
- Canadian Football Hall of Fame Game on September 15, featuring a halftime induction ceremony of the CFHOF Class of 2018

“The early schedule release, combined with the return of our MyTix Ticket Exchange program, provides our season seat holders maximum flexibility to plan out their spring, summer and fall months,” said Matt Afinec, Executive Vice President of Business Operations for the Tiger-Cats. “Half of our home games are on a Saturday, including four that kick off at 4 p.m. Mix in the annual Labour Day Classic in prime time, one Friday night game and two Thursday games, and there truly is something for everyone in our 2018 schedule.”
The Tiger-Cats kick off their 2018 season at McMahon Stadium in Calgary for the first time since 2015 when they take on the Stampeders on Saturday, June 16 at 7 p.m. The team’s home opener is on Friday, June 29 at 7 p.m. against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Season seats are now available for the 2018 season for as low as $19 per game, with cash back incentives of up to $100 per seat.
