Sinkfield Jr. Signs With Tiger-cats

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Thursday that the football club has signed international wide receiver Terrell Sinkfield Jr.
Sinkfield Jr., 27, spent three previous seasons in the Canadian Football League with the BC Lions (2016), Tiger-Cats (2014-15) and Toronto Argonauts (2014). In 34 career CFL games, the 6-0, 200-pound product of the University of Northern Iowa has accumulated 102 receptions for 1,537 yards and 10 touchdowns, 44 carries for 296 yards, 26 punt returns for 369 yards and one touchdown, and 31 kickoff returns for 693 yards. Sinkfield Jr. had a career season in 2015 with the Tiger-Cats, posting 69 receptions for 1,030 yards and six touchdowns, 28 carries for 132 yards, eight punt returns for 115 yards and six kickoff returns for 122 yards.
Most recently, the Minnetonka, Minnesota native spent time as a defensive back with the National Football League’s Oakland Raiders (2018), New York Jets (2017-18) and Minnesota Vikings (2017). Prior to his transition to defensive back, Sinkfield Jr. also spent time as a receiver with the Vikings (2016), New York Giants (2013), Buffalo Bills (2013), Green Bay Packers (2013) and Miami Dolphins (2013).
