The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are hosting the Ottawa Redblacks at 4 p.m. in a very important game in the East Division standings but, more importantly as far as your little ones are concerned, it’s the Ticats’ FAMILY DAY game!
WHAT’S HAPPENING ON FAMILY DAY
We’ve got so much going on in and around the stadium on October 27th, we decided to break things down to help you plan your day:
Trick-Or-Treat with the Ticats – Test out those Halloween costumes a couple of days early! Beginning at 3 p.m. when stadium gates open, join us for Trick-Or-Treat with the Ticats inside Gate 4. We’ve decked out part of the stadium to look like a Haunted House, with candy up for grabs for any little ones who arrive wearing a costume.
Family Channel stars in attendance – Spongebob, the Ninja Turtles and Paw Patrol mascots will be at the game, meeting children and taking photos. It’s not too often you get to meet these guys in person!
Kids giveaway item – Courtesy of our friends at Enercare, the first 10,000 children who enter the game will receive a Ticats arm sleeve. Look the part of a real Ticats player in gym class or on the touch football field!
CF-18 flypass – It doesn’t matter how old you are, the inner kid in all of us loves the roar of jet engines screaming over top of a football stadium before kickoff. Keep your eyes peeled during the national anthem for an exhilarating CF-18 flypass, courtesy of the Royal Canadian Air Force. You’ll hear it before you see it!
Stripes’ Jungle playground – We’ve got one of the coolest playgrounds around, right here in our own stadium! Swing by Stripes’ Jungle with the kids and let them burn off some energy while you watch the game. The playground has a great view of the field and the videoboard!
Families on the Field – After the game, join us for Families on the Field, presented by The Brick. Play tag, throw a ball around, take photos, jump around on our kid-friendly inflatables – do whatever you want, as long as you’re making memories in the process. Our field is your field!
