Tiger-cats To Host Grey Cup Announcement Viewing Party

CFL to announce winning bid live on select TSN platforms February 21 at 6:30 p.m.
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats, as a result of the Canadian Football League’s announcement earlier Friday, will host a 2020 Grey Cup Announcement Viewing Party in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame Club Level (level 4) at Tim Hortons Field Thursday, February 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
“Tiger-Cat fans everywhere, and the Tiger-Cat organization, have worked hard to convey our enthusiasm for bringing the Grey Cup to Hamilton again,” said Bob Young, Caretaker of the Tiger-Cats. “We are thrilled to be in consideration by the Canadian Football League to host the upcoming 2020 Grey Cup game and festival, and we look forward with excitement and anticipation to the league’s announcement on February 21.”
Given capacity considerations on Club Level, invitations to the event will be distributed through a randomized draw of interested Ticats season seat holders and Stipley neighbourhood residents. Members of the media will also be invited to attend.
The special announcement will be carried live on select TSN platforms and aired live at Hamilton’s viewing event. TSN and the CFL will provide Tiger-Cats fans unable to attend with more details on how they can watch the announcement on February 21 in the days ahead.
