The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Tuesday the football club has re-signed American defensive tackle Dylan Wynn to a two-year contract. Wynn agreed to terms before becoming a free agent at 12 p.m. (noon) today.

Wynn, 26, started 17 games at defensive tackle for the Tiger-Cats in 2019, finishing fourth in the Canadian Football League and first among defensive tackles with a career-high 11 quarterback sacks. The 6-2, 283-pound native of Concord, California added a career-high 44 defensive tackles, three tackles for loss and two pass knock downs, and was named a CFL All-Star.

Wynn has appeared in 44 career CFL games with 41 starts at defensive tackle over three seasons with the Toronto Argonauts (2017-18) and Tiger-Cats (2019), recording 108 defensive tackles, 19 quarterback sacks and four pass knock downs. The Oregon State University product is also a two-time divisional all-star (2018, 2019) and has appeared in two Grey Cup games (2017, 2019), winning one with the Argos in 2017.
