The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Thursday the football club has signed American linebacker Brandon Bryant.

The 6-0, 215-pound native of Tunica, Mississippi appeared in 38 games at safety from 2015 to 2017 at Mississippi State University, registering 157 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 quarterback sacks, five interceptions, 12 passes defended and one forced fumble. He returned one of his interceptions 73 yards for a touchdown with the Bulldogs in a game against Louisiana Tech in 2015.
