‘made In The Hammer’ Is Back For 2023

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the club will be bringing back the Made in the Hammer alternate brand in 2023 after a successful debut season last year. The alternate brand was created to honour the indelible link between the Tiger-Cats and the city of Hamilton, while the Hamilton Steel Grey uniform honours the city’s industrial roots.

The alternate uniform features the iconic H logo, with hammers in the negative space of the logo and woven throughout the design on the helmet and the collar, an ode to Hamilton’s civic nickname.

Fans will start to see elements of the alternate brand leading up to the Labour Day Classic presented by WeatherTech and for the first time, the Tiger-Cats will take the field on Labour Day in the Hamilton Steel Grey uniform with The Hammer displayed across their chest when the take on the Toronto Argonauts on September 4. The Ticats will also wear the alternate uniform on the road for the first time when they take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders on October 7.
