The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Saturday, the football club has signed national kicker Marc Liegghio.
Liegghio, 26, played 32 games over two seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2021-22), converting 37 of 47 field goal attempts (78.7%) with a career long of 55 yards. A Western University product, Liegghio was a member of Winnipeg’s Grey Cup winning team in 2021. The 5’7, 198-pound native of Woodbridge, ON played 44 games over four seasons with the Mustangs (2016-19), converting 115 of 137 field goals (83.9%) with a career long of 46 yards.
