Howsare earns league-high grade as three Tiger-Cats named to Week 18 CFL Honour Roll

Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell, defensive lineman Julian Howsare, and offensive lineman Liam Dobson have been named to the CFL Honour Roll for Week 18, powered by Pro Football Focus (PFF), following strong performances in Hamilton’s game against the Toronto Argonauts.

Howsare earned a league-high PFF grade of 91.7, the top score among all CFL players in Week 18, after another dominant showing on the Tiger-Cats’ defensive line. He recorded four defensive tackles and a career-high four sacks resulting in a loss of 32 yards across 65 defensive snaps. Howsare also posted a 91.9 grade on 52 pass rush snaps and earned his fourth CFL Honour Roll selection of the season (Weeks 5, 10 and 14).

Mitchell posted the highest quarterback grade of the week (84.7), completing 18 of 25 passes (72 per cent) for 320 yards and four touchdowns. He recorded three completions of 30 yards or more and a 152.1 efficiency rating, marking his third Honour Roll appearance this season (Weeks 5 and 8).

Dobson earned a 75.3 grade, helping anchor an offensive line that collectively recorded the top unit grade of the week (71.5).
